Have You Picked Your Top Six?

The time has come – after three intense days of wonderful music, our international jury has adjourned to make the decision on the top six semifinalists to advance to Round III. The voting is done in secret and the judges do not confer at all.

In the foyer of the Queenstown Memorial Centre we can hear the audience members discussing their favourites. In just over an hour we will know who will be performing in the chamber music round in Auckland on Wednesday and Thursday.

We’d like to wish all 18 competitors the very best of luck – they are all superb musicians and it’s been a treat to be immersed in the most wonderful music-making for three days
