Local Workforce Career Development

The 2021 Festival initiated the Training Ground (master and apprentice programme) to address the  shortage for professional-level and artistically-experienced management staff.  The programme was highly results-oriented and for 2022 we will pick up where we left off to further develop sustainable careers for stage managers, arts marketers, arts-aware photographers and videographers, audio engineers, etc, thus lifting capabilities to meet the market demand as the district continues to artistically mature.  Through this, the festival is developing the local arts infrastructure, arts communities and audiences.

We will be advertising roles as they come available, so please check back if you are interested, or send an expression of interest to office@violincompetition.co.nz
